"Lasting Peace Can Be Restored By Greater Women Involvement in Peace Process"
Traditionally marginalised, women of Nepal have the new opportunity to join the mainstream of national development. As the country prepares to write a new constitution through Constituent Assembly, Nepali women, too, have the historic opportunity of realising their true potentials. Babita Basnet is the president of Sancharika Samuha – a Women Communicators' Group. A well-known journalist and women's rights activist, Basnet spoke with Sanjaya Dhakal of Nepalnews on the eve of the international women's day (March
about the contemporary issues facing Nepali women and how they can make use of the tremendous opportunities ahead.

The Best Thing these SPA-M Thugs and Terrorists can do Right now, Since they are New Dictators of our KINGDOM is :
Make the ENTIRE POPULATION of our KINGDOM MP's (Memeber of PARLIAMENTS) Every one will have a Job, One Security Personnal EACH. ONE PAJERO and oo Yes, For Security since The Entire Population of our KINGDOM will be LAW MAKERS, They should out-source the Job, so people from INDIA, US, BRITAIN can apply for Security of 20 Million + MP's.
So in the world NEPAL will be the Biggest Job Creator of 20 Millions + JOBS for Outsiders. This will be a great idea.

"We have demanded that there should be proportional representation of women at the CA. Women, Dalits, Janajatis and Madhesis should be included proportionally"
I suggest all the Nepalese woman and even Nepalese men to ask government to provide good education first coz education is the most important for any participation in the government. If we just ask for the active participation for all then that will be useless coz they can do nothing except to hear and tolorate all what the corupted leaders do. Hei men and Woman Don't just wish to be a parliament member just like the Maoists Terrorists uneducated men and woman. First of all enhance your knowledge through education. And please Madam don't just shout for the other rights if the first priority for our womans is Education. Thank you mam. JUST EDUCATION FIRST.

Certainly, there needs a real and meaningful participation of women in the larger context of developing country and they should be jusfully represented in state affairs. As opined by Ms.Basnet, the participation of women are not for the purpose like as such only to put in show-case,indeed,there must be proper representation of women in the each and every activities of nation.
Not only there is a unwise and unvisioned division among the women but also in general people at large in the same position because of selfishness and partisan based politics carried out by the political parties there is no unity among all Nepalese in major ajendas of nation, which is unfortunate for the democratic and economics development of the country.Devided the people and ruled the people has been the main policy of political parties, that is why the country is passing this very trouble time." United we stand, devided we fall " let us not blindly follow the path shown by vested interest parties and group,we must have good sense to support or protest the way based on the justice, rule of law, humanity and human rights and broader and larger interest of the country.Jay Nepal !

WoW WoW!!!!!
Now this what nepal is being keenly struggling in women's participation. As evrybody knows that nepal is a MAle Dominant society so there is no right for nepalese womens to talk or have any of their idea in any of the feild but this fking ppl are forgetting that the population of women are in the highest level than male here. One who doesn't like to dirt their mouth, does itcoz why it's being awared now, why not they have given any chance to xpress themselves bfore...but there's no reason to bother in this topic coz once the grip has lost ,days can't b created again but the panic is never cured.
Certainly involvment of women surely brings vast difference in the welfare of the country coz when a "HOME" is in fire , everybody need to be same energetic to get rid of it, not only the one who are potential.
