The China-Africa Summit, the port of Gwadar, and North-West Nepal
The recently concluded China-Africa Summit held in Beijing must go down in the annals of international affairs as one of the most stunning, sophisticated and creatively novel endeavors in recent history at forging linkages across the board between a single colossal state on the one hand and an entire continent on the other. It is China’s delicate and nuanced assessment of current international dynamics conjoined with a far-sighted and possibly clairvoyant conceptualization of future constellations that lends great significance to the Summit.

It's a read-worthy and agreeable suggestion suggested in fevour of developing Karnali Zone, which is regarded as most remote area of Nepal and where no real development work has ever been launched to remove it lebeled tag of remote. If the all current ongoing activities are really focused on the development of Nepal ,it can be hoped to see the major development in Karnali Zone but in reality it is doubtful in the intention of political parthers to work unitedly for the noble cause of peace and development of the country. That is why, there is very fewer chance to materialise the suggestion of auther Mr.Koirala in his article.Jay Nepal !

Excellent article. The current mainstream debates in Nepali media suggest if China had no importance in the developments in Nepal, and only India backed by westen powers control the show. But it is far from the truth. China with its increasing clout is very important for Nepal and a traditional friend. This relationship needs to be explored more vigorosly.

Today, Maoist Terrorists are continuing to Terrorize innocent Civilians and Mis Lead + Brain wash them just as usual, and individuals who refuse to accept Maoism are Slaughtered. This will never stop, even if the Maoist Terrorist are handed over power from Girja.
SPA Traitors and Loosers, the main bunch of People are the ones who are responsible for the collapse of Economy, Infrastructure, peace & security in our Beautiful country. Last 15 + Years has been filled with Corruption and Chaos and just to divert peoples attention from the wrong doings of GIRJA, MADHVA, DEUBA govt's they and Maoist Terrorists together joined hands and blame it on INNOCENT MONARCH, who did nothing other than to show these idiots and example of good governance.
But these SPA-M thugs got too scared and got worried that if His Majesty the King succeeds in conducting Elections and Corruption control, then people will chase and beat the crap out of these mis-leaders. This is when some Terrroists supporters of South Block actively put a master plan, how to oust His Majesty and Blame him for "HOLLOW EXERCISE TO REMAIN IN POWEER" to CRUSH DEMOCRACY and all the Bull Shit.
Who will question to these SPA-M thugs and Terrorists about the Death of 14 thousand + Civillians and Security personnel who lost their lives protecting our Democracy and Safety? Just because 20 or so Terrorists and Anti social elements got killed withe their Terrorist movement then they were given about a Million Rupee each why?
Police personnel who has lost their arms, legs, life protecting our Democracy from Maoist Terrorist Take over are still begging for survival, why ? In fact these Security personnal and Fallen Soldiers and Police Personnel should be Martyrs and rewarded not the other way around.
K1, RAJ66, AM and other Terrorist Suppoters, think about this and justify How Bad Governance, corruption, propaganda, mislead, child soldier recruitment by Maoist Terrorists and Terrorism is acceptable to you few? JUSTIFY?

While going thru’ this particular write-up regarding China-Africa deal by @ Bhaskar Koirala, at first sight, I’ve had the feeling and virtigo as to who cares if it’s quacky, or whacky, or nuts, as long as it makes me feel great. But my bragging was just worthless.
I do not mean to be glib, but drooling over something inappropriate which has really nothing particular to do with Nepal, despite the author’s desperate attempt, it is not at all my cup of tea. Sorry buddy.
Eventhough, I beg to state not to take it otherwise for my very formal impression of going thru’ a cram-full of words and tightness of phrases that arrested my attention just for awhile, nothing remained at length, but some nice photo-snaps.
In fact, for some time we all know that China and India, these two ogresses of raw materials are trying to woo the African countries which have raw materials. Furthermore, especially China has the stocks of household materials to be sold to, so why it is trying very hard to be the member of WTO (World Trade Organization). And for that reason China needs the votes of African countries. It’s nothing else but business. But this kryptocommunist diktat of wild economy would be devastating in the long run if the world stance does not put a stop to such a stir-up. And what else..
For Nepal, what counts for the time being is the forthcoming state visit of Jiang Jiao, the Chinese president, next week to India. These two Asian giants are ironing out the age-old misunderstandings in order to begin a new era of bilateral cultural and commercial exchanges, as like in the past before commies ruling of China, the propagation of Buddhism undertaken by Padma Sambhav in the VII century AD right from Tibet to Japan is one of those outstanding example. Much to and fro Transhimalayan businesses are ahead of us, where as a buffer state, Nepal could take advantage from both sides, albeit by religion and culture Nepalese are closer to India than China.
It’s high time now Nepal woke up at its fastest to participate in this mankind’s supranational adventure.

My purpose is not to browbeat somebody into lamenting over “the past engulfed the present in shreds and the future forlorn and uncertain.”
Hopefully, I’m focussing on explaining hereunder the reasons as to why we could be possibly holding all trumps which could help us not drift further into disillusion and mayhem.
Now it’s high time for all the Nepalese to have stopped nagging and instead let the genie out of the bottle (is not he getting stuffed therein for a decade or so?) to accelerate the pace to win free from the grip of kryptocommunism at our earliest and then participate in the trades as go-between (exactly as a buffer state like Switzerland between France and Italy), between these two Asian giants. It is often said that Nepal is considered to be “the Switzerland” of the Asian continent.
In the end, let us anticipate something positive as well as promising in this continent for the near future from this Sino-Indian deal (it is no doubt Hu Jintao not Jiang Jiao).
P.S.: Please find here below the Email address of Planet Finance created by Jacques Attali. I heard the Director of this said bank, Mehdi Duteuil was very eager to expand his offices of Microcredit provider in Nepal when the present political turmoil would come to a halt.

Buck up. Have guts and carry on.
