Polls do not make any sense in Nepal. Nepal is run by the whim of the politicians who pays little attention to the people.

The result of survey can be taken as a kind of indication of the prevailing situation of the country and status of political forces, but it may not  necessarily be the exact indicator and also can not taken as authentic and reliable because of impating factors and way of conducting survey might be varied the result.Nyway,it can not deny the seen fact that monarchy has not gained support and popularity because of last year take-over and the way of ruling the country and also the figures brought by the king to see the state affairs were the major responsible factors of decreasing popularity. It may not be wise as well to see monarchy of its only dark side and bad performances of last eighteen months, there are so many positive and brighter side of monarchy which can be useful for the national harmony and symbolic of unity for stability, which somehow may be a speed-breaker to have complete anarchy in the nation as we have seen the Thailand and some other country as well. But the main and most important thing need a kind of ceremonial monarchy which can not play dorect role in state affairs because in democracy it is the people's elected government who only can see the state affairs and monarchy can never and ever direct related with politics and running government. Those were the things which we had not been seriously thought and did accordingly and in result we have been experiencing a very typical and risk reality.
There is a another important aspect as well,if the people are totally against of monarchy as of the fore-coming result of CA ,the question of monarchy is answered for ever.BUt,the election of CA must be conducted in a fair, fearless and impartial manner where every competent citizen could be able to excercise there democratic rights, that is why it must be left to people what they in their country.
If rebels force is really willing to be mainstream political force in democratic Nepal and would truely like to serve the country and people, they must come forward to people without weapon and militant groups and they must totally denounce the violation and on going atrocities and other unaccepted activities which are against of human rights norms and principle of justice based on rule of law.If the things are not done as per said above there is likely to have great misfortune and tragic happening in country in which" Na Rahe Baans,Na Baje Bansuree",I am afraid in the foresee adverse circumstances even it would not be easy task  to God itself to bring the country into its normalcy ,so in the case how we expect the thing better from currently seen so called ruler and politicians.May God give us sense of loving motherland.Jai Nepal !

[This is a well known fact, that with help from Failed Indian policy makers and Anti Social, Thugs, Terrorists and Misleaders of our country has committed themselves to destroy this tiny once beautiful and most peaceful nation in the world. Thanks to the THUGS of Nepal.

These idiots are so much covered in their own filth that they can barely see even a Deep Hole about Foot of Distance from where they are standing. These so called politicians are senseless, idiots, power hungry vultures and for their own personal benefit, they can hand over power to the Terrorists or India and this what we all are witnessing every day.

The biggest corrupt like Girja ( Lauda Air, Arun Teshr..etc) Deuba, for mis handling the funds of  Water Project.. All them never talk about the check on corruption of CIAA. Right now Sujata is busy collecting money for Transfers and all kinds of things, so as every one else is right now.

Talking about all New Nepal and all is just a Garbage and Joke. Un-necessary ideas and senseless acts.

**  Smiles on Monarchists but how long will it last? **

This public opinion poll may provide smiles and confidence on Monarchists and they may possibly demand their rights to continue the feudal system. They may argue that 54 % of population still wants to maintain monarchy in the country and only minority of 39 % is against it and on the board of Republican Front.

The question is how far the survey is reflecting views of Nepalis? Are the results of opinion polls acceptable?  The polls were conducted in 35 districts only and participated by 3000 people. To make confidence level up to 95% and confidence interval up to 1, the sample size needed is 9600 out of 2.7 million population. And also it covered less than 50 % of districts, the results of the opinions poll are somewhat hazy.

Mind that we have a rich king in the poor country. The Monarchy institution is the symbol of the feudal system in which only privileged class of people  enjoy out of state coffer while the rest  live in destitute. The monarchy institution has no place in 21 century Nepal.  It has to be abolished before we can expect peace and stability in the country. This will be the beginning of the end of  the feudal system in Nepal. The people must have rights to decide the fate of the monarchy by the referendum and it should be conducted side by side with the election of Constituent Assembly.

Which side does this organisation relate to ? I think it is pretty obvious. CA dates are nearly finalised, so election campaign seems to be on and Anti monarchy upto their job first. I dont think this is going to change peoples perception. Stop publicing so called survey polls. They only mislead public. Let public use their own understanding.

The reason/cause of decline in popularity of monarchy goes to maoists communists of Nepal. It is because of their propaganda, brainwashing operation of illiterate/literate Nepalis. for which they have given different names. If there was some other polls conducted regarding faith in religion, faith in cows as goddess laxmi, belief in peace nd peaceful means, belief in democratic system of governance, belief that dialogue works, faith in pen, belief in truth, faith in Nepalese people itself that they are able to do better in Nepal themselve, belief in communal and ethnic integration that Nepal had been living since its beginning, belief in mutual trusts......., and many such matters of faith and beliefs and their popularity have really plunged down since the maoist people killing was begun.
