I believe in multi-party democracy though I do not trust Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala. He is a political puppet of India and Under World Drug Lord of Nepal Mr Gyannendra.
Please, Prachnda do not give an inch to Girija and his team.
We are behind you. We are ready to die to eradicate Monarchy and feudal system from Nepal. We do not want to listen about Monarchy and Royal Institution.
Look at Paras The Muderer of Innocent People. If we keep monarchy one day Paras also will become King, a Shameful figure to be called not even fit to live in Nepal.
I support Prachanda and Baburam and his team even I am from other principle or idealogy.

Well there is no place for monarchy system in 21st century. I have this proposal
1 Monarchy system should be abolished right way like how Nepal becomes secular country.
2 Mr. Gyanendra would be temp president till next election of new president of Nepal. Accepting that, Gyanedra wouldn’t be face charge for past crimes if he has any, but his and all the royal properties and wealth should be open for examination. If it is considered too much then it should be nationalized.
3. Mao should give up their arms and must accept multi party democracy. If people like their programs they would win the election over and over. They must learn to respect people’s decision.
4 To have fair election Nepal should request and allowed UN peace keepers.

I do not see any as such development in meeting between PM and Supremo, which could lead to end the conflict in fovor of peaceful Nepali and real democracy. The leaders are not by heart committed and dedicated to peace because peace is not their concern, what their concern is how to capture power for long time and for this they need say this for people for international community. So just for lingering the situation to make the thing fevourable to own interest and benifit, they pretending to hold meeting.
One other thing I feel that is a realization of our geopolitic, culture, history, social status as well as level of people's education in order to seek the solution to our problem and without broad analyisis of thos thing seriously the sustainable peace and stability of Nepal is a only dream. Most dangerous aspect which is playing major role invisiblely by the out sider, who have so far been able to defeat the mind of our so called ledares, for not to have a peace and stable in the country. That is why,it is not a time to stick on ones point and demand ,instead it is a time to apply give and take theory through the principle of greater reconciliation among all existence political force and try to find out moderate solution which could lead country to long lasting peace and democratic, besides this no solution temporarily finds take the country into logical end of the ongoing conflict. So,it's a time to give up hard liner approach for achieving goal set previously by parties or power block.Otherwise, all of us be ready to destroy own indentification by being refugee in the land where we were born.Jai Nepal !

The level of seriousness required seems to be missing.By all standards a lot should have been achieved by by now. At least an interim constitution, the question of te maoist arms, and an interim government that includes disarmed maoists should be in place by now. There are other even more important issues like CA, the kind of elections-PR or the present system, the question of the monarchy that all needs to be settled in a peaceful manner. GP meets Prachanda and we are given another date and that seems to be about all. It all does not seem to be adding up.I have nothing to suggest except this kind of delay is creating extremists advocating their own concepts. I am very hopeful but hope is something that diminishes with time.As things stand today there is no one really concerned about the short and long term future of the country. I do not anymore believe that things will happen in a sequence that is acceptable to one and all-foremost the citizens of this country. Like the past we might have our aspirations dashed and backroom politics may end up deciding our futures-and that could be very dangerous.

Well I understand everyone is trying to have better barraging situation. I guess I am not being that smart and highly educated person I came with simple solution. I have seen lots of countries had to face same questions now we are facing when they were transitioning from one system to another system. In the USA, when USA fighting for independence there were Americans who said being UK colony was better then being independent? Same happened in France too when they were trying to get rid of monarchy system. Some of our grand parents used to say Rana rule was better then the change. My point is there would never be better time. We could come with excuses not for change if we choose for 100 or 1000 years.
But it has been already proven democracy is the far better then any other system.
Even people who are dictators had once studied in the democratic countries and keep sending their kids to study. Son of ex president of china used to study in the USA. Now in china people can’t type word democracy and search in the web. I always wonder if the democracy is that bad why to send their kids in democratic country.
Leaders aren’t going to anything because all most them know they would never be elected as president of Nepal. So they are trying to hang what they have now.
That is why I guess we the people have to put pressure.

Tough stand by Maoists but will it bear fruits ?
**
The tough stand taken by Maoists to abolish the monarchy institution is encouraging one and it is the main aspiration of the people as well. The Janandolan II will be considered successful only when the monarchy institution is abolished. Maoists will get credits only the Peace Summit takes a decision to abolish the monarchy institution. Otherwise the party will go into the same path as any other political parties and people will start questioning its principles and policies.
The two major issues which people want the Peace Summit be able to resolve are as follows:
1. Abolishing the Monarchy system by declaring the Republic of Nepal
2.Modality of Proportional Representative Government based on Federal Republic or Democratic Republic
The main contentious point is the abolition of the monarchy institution.
A rich king in the poor country, the monarchy institution has no place in 21 century Nepal.
It has to be abolished before all troubles will cease. If the Peace Summit could not take its decision to abolish monarchy institution, then let the people be given the chance to decide the fate of the monarchy by the referendum and it should be conducted side by side with the election of the Constituent Assembly.
The next contentious point is Maoists weapons management, which Maoists have already indicated that if the monarchy institution is abolished they are ready to disarm. For the sake of peace and future prosperity of Nepal, SPA parties must agree with Maoists proposal.
But Nepalis will feel relief only when Maoists publicly dissociate from violence and extortion before they join the Interim Government. The UN authority must be given the full control of both armies during the election of Constituent Assembly.
We can keep our peace and freedom (Democracy) only when Maoists respect “Ballots” and stop worshiping “Guns”.

ALL GREAT AS LONG AS OUR RIGHT TO USE THE VOTE IS NOT TAKEN AWAY FROM US.PLEASE ASK THE MAOISTS TO PROVE IT BY ACTIONS....OTHERWISE GOOD POINTS.

Maoists leaders who gave order to murder people, bomb private as well as public properties and criminals who carried out such acts deserves no less than death penalty if justice is to prevail for nepali society. How to install the death penalty provision in the law and begin prosecution of criminal Maoists is the primary responsibility of the SPA and future government. It must be done even if it takes decades. Otherwise, there would be severe injustice to the people and that will breed a new wave of crime in the society.
Because of the anger with the King's action, Maoists can not be let free. If it is done so, it would be not only a wrong step but a dangerous precedence for the future.

One thing I don’t understand why we have to wait for parties or Mao’s or monarchy to fulfill our demand when we know they are not working for Nepal and Nepali. Hell with all. I don’t give dam about parties’ cause they are bunch of jokers. We all know only public pressure would bring change. In Nepal change has to come from grass root not from top. We have lots of stories to tell. We can just ask simple question to our friends, families and co-workers… is there any better person then Paras in Nepal. I guess people would say millions and millions people are better then Paras, then we ask if there are lots of better person then paras. If that case then why should paras be to be head of country. We ask a peon how he feels about he/she has to work almost 2 months to make what paras son gets per day.
These are very simple question but very effective then talking about 100% being educated or geo political.
Beside Nepalese one can change Nepal. So we should not be worried about India USA China right now.

Jane, I agree there have been too many killing. However I am proud of one thing of 15 of so called democracy we abolished death penalty. I grew up in this belief that only those can take life who can give life. What happens if we by mistake kill innocent person can you bring back that person but if that person would have stayed in jail we could free that person anytime.
When Nepali society becomes free Mao leaders would face their punishment .Cause I am very sure if we have election today Mao leaders wouldn’t win president of Nepal they have to take that bitter pill.
At some point we have to let go past. If we keep taking revenge to each other we have to kill the Nepali

anti_monarchy, i am not talking of revenge but justice. how come a society can let live who has purposely and with so inhumanly killed and murdered people because he/she did not support maoism. most of countries which have the best political system do have death penalty for criminals like maoists in Nepal. I was also happy that nepal did not have death penalty before. but now looking at the crimes that maoists did upon society, its reinstitution is must. if no death penalty the professional killers will get away one day enjoy good life. i am sure maoists leaders must have told killers that if you are caught, they will put you in jail and when we come to power we will release and award you prize. all killers will be prized once maoists come to power. this is 100 percent sure because the basis of maoists coming to power is the threat by killing and terrorizing people.

So you would will to apply death penalty to Paras too. Cause there is wide belief that had killed people in past. Are you willing to apply death penalty to army too cause they have killed innocent people with purpose or without purpose.
Those countries you are giving examples have cleared lots of death row people because they were in that with false accusation. If democratic country can’t have fair trail what make in Nepal, people wouldn’t be hung with false testimony.
Well by the way there were killing of people because they didn’t support monarchy system in the past too.
I just want free Nepal with we Nepali have right to choose head of our country without fear.

Well it all starts on how to improve the coutries situation isn't it ?? well Wake Up people!! What about the STudents Of our coutry?? well, all of us have heard about how the political leaders feel about students and how much they care about student's BUT it's not true .Have they ever tried to find out how T.U. conducts ?? have they ever tried to look at which exams are being held and have they ever been able to publish out the results ?? well,To all these Questions there's this simple Answer "NO" never.
If they ever were concerned about the students then wouldn't they ever try to improve the standards of T.U. ?? well it is one of the renowned education board but why are people mrpe attracted to other universities ?? why can't Tribhuwan universities be the leader of all universities in nepal
?
Has anyone ever tried to think about this ?? well better do think about it,before it all goes down and we all have to say ,"we had this university named tribhuwan universities".
WAKE UP PEOPLE TRY TO SEE WHATS HAPENNING IN THE EDUCATION FIELD RATHER THAN TO THINK ABOUT WHAT POLITICAL LEADERS ARE DOING AFTER ALL THE STUDENTS ARE THE ONES TO RULE THIS COUNTRY IN FUTURE
Wake Up sleepy head
try to look at it
do you see the lights fading away
it soon shall fade away and we all will be in dark
wake up try to look, try to feel
it's not you its not me
it's just the dreams we all see
AND try to wake Up my sleeping country
