NJP warns of launching armed struggle in support of King
A few months after Nepali people took back state power from the King ending 14-month long direct rule of the King, the Nepal Janatantrik Party (NJP) has said that it will launch an armed struggle in support of the king from the far west.

Armed struggle to either overthrow or retain the King by armed means is going to backfire on those advocating it.If the maoists cannot achieve this objective, then this outfit NJP does not stand even a remote chance.A referendum is the only way to decide whether the people want a monarchy or a republic.Supporters of the King taking up to arms will only reduce the already slim chances the monarchy has of getting itself retained as a ceremonial institution. Thus, those acting on behalf of or on orders of the palace should relaize that hired gunmen cannot luanch an armed rebellion and they are only eroding the already limited support base of Gyanendra.

A armed revolt by the maoist has made the Maoist what they are now today. Who says armed struggle does not succeed? Heed them or take care of them now before things get out of hand. We - who are all old enough - remember clearly how the people of Nepal and the then "democratic" government brushed of the maoists as bandits.
Now look what happened.

Friend, resorting to arms by anyone is wrong-it is not that anyone is afraid of a few royalists taking up arms and they cannot ever hope to equeal the maoists because the maoists enjoy real suport while the King does not-but two wrongs do not make a right.Arms must be taken up only if we see external aggression and not for settling internal problems.Note that parties or individual who see no hope of gaining the people's trust via the ballot box sieze power or resort to violence only to lose in a short period of time.Gyanendra lost and if the maoists don't mend their way they will join him.

The wrong way to get in destination can never be helpful ultimately to achieve the target goal in reality,it would rather be dangerous and severe painful.Whoever has choosen or going to choose the path of violent with the help arms in order to fulfil own desire can not be really helpful to keep the momentum for long time since this type of step never and ever be able to win the mind of general people and without which ultimate goal can be ruined. The real threat to peace throughout the world is no other than misuse of arms and armies which is only devastating attempt of peace, prosperity and entire human development. In my opinion it would not be very supportive and helpful steps for those who still see continuity of the monarchy is best and right thing to have united and reconciled Nepal. To go to democratic process through the mass participation in order to settle the entire issues is the only way to find peaceful and prosperous Nepal. So,I urgue all to try to win of the mind of the people through showing and doing with the feeling of dedication, love and sacrifice to the motherland and its entire general people.Being encouraged out of present context of involvent of arms in getting objective is the way to perish ultimate. So,everyone need to denounce the path of violant with the help of arms and necessary to come in a greater and democratic process through the best seen model of South Afica by applying larger national reconciliation method to make strong and prosperoud democratic Nepal.Jay Nepal !

Maoists are the guru to teach like this. I will not be surprised if it is real because there are about 50 percent Nepali people, as reported by survey result, who want monarchy. Not only this, may be many like this. We already have Maobadi, Kiraat Mukti Morcha, tarai Mukti Morcha. May be later we will have, Tharu, Magar, Gurung, Tamang, and finally Bahun and Kshetri mukti morchas.
It was totally unfare of Dr. Baburam Bhattarai calling Kshetris "Ahamkarbadi". If we follow Bhattarai, what we say for bahun, newar, gurung, magar. tamang, tharu, madhise, rai, limbu. All of them can have different cannotation.

WE SHOULD HOLD A REFERENDUM ON THE KING TO END FOR ONCE AND ALL THIS ENDLESS BICKERING-IF THE PEOPLE FAVOUR A CEREMONIAL KING SO BE IT.IF NOT AGAIN FINE-A REPUBLIC.WHATEVER ALL MUST PLEDGE TO RESPECT THE VERDICT AND LIVE WITH IT.

The democratic view expressed by Raj is an appreciative effort towards the finding of peaceful and sustainable solution of the country. There can not be any other best and accepted means to the ultimate ends to make Nepal a prosperous, democratic and long-lasting independency of the Nepal than to ask overall competent people of Nepal to decide decide the fate of country by their invaluable and only valid and determining role through the poll.Jay Nepal!
