UML presents 23-point suggestion to ICDC; ‘fate of monarchy be decided by referendum’

The CPN (UML) presented its 23-point suggestion to the interim constitution drafting committee (ICDC) on Sunday, suggesting that the interim constitution include provision to hold referendum to decide the fate of monarchy.

There were lot of issues that was to be decided by people of Nepal, not the parliamentarians only. Goverments in the past what they were doing based on the constitution, rules and regulation. Once Janaandolan II was over, cabinet, parliamentarians started doing what they were not supposed to do. They should hear the peoples voice from all over the country. It is very unfurtunate to Nepal and Nepalese to hear that now India is making road map for Nepal and involve directly through the parties in Nepalese politics.

Nepalese ourselves are proving that Nepal is a part of India, to make the S.D Muni's dream come true.
