Families demands whereabouts of disappeared people

The Society of the Families of the Disappeared Citizens by the State has urged the government to immediately publicize the whereabouts of all people who were disappeared by the government.

The society handed over a memorandum to Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala through Home Minister Krishna Prasad Sitaula on Monday and demanded to immediately publicize their whereabouts saying right to information is the fundamental rights of people.

THE WHEREABOUTS OF THOSE DISSAPRED BY THE ARMY AND THE MAOISTS MUST BE MADE PUBLIC.IF THEY ARE ALIVE THEY MUST BE RELEASED,IF NOT WHAT HAPPENED TO THEM MUST BE MADE CLEAR TO THEIR FAMILIES AND THE PUBLIC.
