Budget 2006-07: The countdown begins

According to government sources, the upcoming budget will earmark around Rs 250 million for the Royal Palace - 40 percent less than the current year's allocation.

This is the bad news, Mr. FM. You have to reduce palace budget to zero. Your Gyane has enough from corrupted money, from hashish business etc. Therefore try to reduce to 100%

its tough time for nepal. whoever is the FM,it doesnt matter. if he will go other will come. we sud never think on that. we sud only think how we can put the foundation for rural infrastructure. as i see, transportation(road/rail) is the main issue  to do anything. so first the budget sud emphasize on making roads rather that political developments. road will bring new hope to every part of our country. so we hv to work on it. again we badly need to imporve our postal system. once we get these things done we can motivate multi national companies to open and operate their factories in the rural area. multi nationals spend so much of money in advertisment so we need to make them contribute certain percentage on the development besides taxes. not only multi nationals, we need to encourage our big corporate houses to take part in this.tourism industry is totally distroyed by our cheap behaviour. we need to change our behaviours if we wnt tourism to regain its position in economy. due to quota, china is unable to produce garments. we sud work with china and make the channels which will divert its overage orders to nepal.

above all we hv to make and work in a system of check and balance. we sud now implement the concept of system audit also. our financial auditors overlooks system errors. system audit will definately help in reducing the overheads. we need to implement it urgently. then only we can see the effectiveness of any plans and policies.

Even 40% for Mr.shah is far too much. Around 25% would have been more apporpriate.Thatalso till the CA decides whether we retain a ceremonial King or do away with the disease altoegther.Otherwise I am sure the budget will not have much to offer-slightly populist, lots of promises and maybe some good as well.
