Interim government cannot be formed untill and unless Maoist handover all the arms an amunitions. As maoist are the byproduct of political instability ,poverty and lack of education besides lack job opportunity in the country. Knowing the fact maoist have taken advantages by manipulating the ignorence hard working people Of Nepal and mislead them.Indeed so called Maoist comrades do not have much idea of world politics and economic systems and who know a bit better are influenced by ego and power greed or scared of going back to main political stream because their hands are full of blood of 14000 Nepalese poeple. They have been able to sell a cheap slogans in rural communities where litracy rate is very low.
I think mr. pokharel is not well informed. Almost all the maoist leader are well educated, far better than Gyanendra, future king paras, Girija etc. They are well informed of world politics far better than businessman (hashishman ) Gyanendra.
There is no question to include maoist on the gvernment without arm management. but there would be more problem from (R)NA, if the folk votes against the monarchy. Therefore best solution will be to keep both army under UN-supervision.
I think you know the fact that RNA is saving life of royals not of ordinary people.
once there was a rumour, Gyanendra is the prachanda, there is no other prachanda. It can happened that Gyanendra can go to jungle with his RNA and will start civil war against the elected government. Now maoist are not danger of state but Gyanendra is really danger for democracy.
nice proverb fould on Internet:
-RNA can protect Gyanendra from people but who protects people from Gyanendra ? Answer may be PLA
-PLA can protect prachanda from RNA, but who can protect RNA from people, perhaps no body
-Gyanendra was protected by Deuba, but not just opposite, good lesson for deuba
-Gyanendra was also protected by Girija but not just opposite, no lesson to Girija, because he is too old to remember/understand it (Alzheimer). Gyanendra likes such leaders.
