Hi Everyone,
Don't mix your dirty politics in education................ We don't need any student union in Govt. College also.
Student can stand up for their right they dont need GUNDAS for education.
I suffer a lot when I was doing my I.Com and BBS in Shanker Dev, MBS in Min Bhawan.
Take any govt. college in KTM TC, ASCOL, Engg, Medical, RR, Law every innocent student was, is or will be victims of GUNDAS. They beat up students and teachers, sells drugs, violets rules, so on. Where is the student right?
Now they want private college to be like that. I have been an academic counselor of Private College. My students used to respect me, listen to what I say, I used to share their problems and counsel them. And they used to pay lot of money for that.
Govt College Runs on states money actually we (public) pay tax for that, the GUNDAS (I mean student union) decides what should be done with that money, they mobilize student for their own needs, where is student right, they persuade student to throw stones and burn tyres. Is that what you call Democracy? Better utilize our money so that we can produce more and more qualified individual than group of mobs. Why any student union needs the parties name behind them? There is only one reason to use them as mobs and create a fear of GUNDARAJ. You can start doing politics any where you like not in college. Student has right to know and actively participate in politics. But they can do after college. Don’t use college premises as the battle field to play the political TUG-Of-WAR.
I suffered and was a victim of the student unions anti-social deeds. At Shanker Dev college in 1997 me and my friends were not allowed to enter the class, by the student union to protest a professor who asked one GUNDA, not even a student but a supporter of student union, to leave the class when he was making noise and disturbing the whole class. In that situation what will be the professors’ mentality, and the students. This kind of two three incident happened and I never entered a classroom till my MBA. I got a private lesson, tuition, and self study. If it called democracy then, where is speech of freedom and basic student right. I don’t need any Democracy.
What can we expect from these unions who don’t know what is politics, what is right and privilege of student. They only know when to disturb the class, when to take the student to street to vandalize property, when to do strike or when to fight with another rival student union. BULLSHIT……………..YEAH This is a reality.
I tell my fellow American student about such things and their reaction is Really!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh !!!!!!!!!! My God.
America is the great example of Democratic nation they don’t need such bullshit then why we do? We are in the 21st century so our generation better take conscious of these things. I don’t want to happen such thing to my little brother and sister who are planning to join the college soon.
LETS REJECT STUDENT UNION THEY ARE DANGERUOS THAN ANY DRUG>……..

It is time for unions to do things like run canteens, shops , etc.The student leaders except a few are plain stupid. They must not be allowed to use education as a platform to further their dreams of becoming a MP using students who need to build a career as pawns. If they are willing to engage in making the campus premisis good and delivering services, go ahead unionise ,but if they mean misheaving with teachers, vandalism, disruption...... they should be no unions at all.Let us all forget petty politics and think about the Nepali people who desprerately need economic progress, education, health and a chance of a better life.

Who received how much from royal govt?
3. Nirodh Raj Pandey(national Federation of Nepalese Journalists)Rs 1,000,000
I think Arajpandey´'s true name is Nirodh Raj Pandey if not he is nirodh's son, his stay in USA is paid by this bakhis.
you look educated, but you have learned nothing more than taking bakshis and doing propagandas for gyanendra.
Student unions are necessary, they have to work for students not for parties.

What a joke Must be a line from Flop Comedy Show.
How can these so called Student Union not work for party when they have Party Label attach in thier Ass. Have some common sense. If you are not really GUNDA and thinks for Nepal, you will not be supporting them.
(Mr. Bishnu) You better understand that I am not Against Democratic Rule. I am agaisnt the current SPAM leader, you might have heard Prachandas Interview how Arrogant He is? He is not Diplomat. He is Terrorist, he proved it.
Every leader either Gyane or SPAM leader they are power hunger physcos. Arrogant and stubborn. There is no point in supporting them we need a leader, a diplomat, a patriot not them.
I always say that no one is flawless. I talk for Nepal and Nepalis thats why some Gundas have given me the name of Baksis Guy, Mandale, Royalist whatever I don't care.
Though I am a royalist, but my faith in King was lost when we lost our dear King HM Birendra. I am not here to support Gyane or Paras,T. Giri or Kamal Thapa I don't stand in thier line I better know who they are, I hate them as much as the Grija, Madhav, Oli and so on.
I am in favor of Nepal and Nepalis. I love Nepal more than anyone of these Mo----F----r, Co---S--r, bastards.

Yup we need student unions so that we can call bandhs in Universities and colleges whenever we feel like. Our sessions are already lagging so what difference it will make if we make it lag more and more.
If only the student unions were there for the welfare of students, it would make sense. But the student unions are just another name for the group who fail the exams but still has the power over the brilliantmost student. I remember my brother saying this line to me- 'In our country, those who are brilliant study sciences and become doctors, engineers and pilots. Those less brilliant than these, study arts and commerce and become bureaucrat who rule over the brilliant people and make policies. Those less brilliant than these bureaucrats become teachers, with whose teaching our country's education level suffers. And those who can not pass any exams become politicians who rule the whole country.' The scene is changing slightly but not completely and for the last bunch, the political ones, the scene has not changed at all. So the union is just a bunch of people who fail every exam and stay in the same college for more than a decade and do their dirty politics. They are so powerful that they decide who gets enrolled in the colleges. They are so bunch of gundas who call the bandhs and play with the future of students. Backed by political parties, they are often the ones who decide the fate of the students with their ruthless crimes. I again remembered this incident when I was doing my I. Sc. There was a friend(?) of mine who could not pass his I. Sc. He asked me to sit for his exam and assured that he himself would become the invigilator and there would be no problem. I had to go underground to avoid him for quite a while. Later I did my engineering and started looking for job. I met this very friend of mine in New Road, after knowing that I had finished my engineering and was looking for job, this guy told me that I could do his 'Chakari' and he would find me a job as he had already become student leader of Nepali Congress (I am yet to be sure if he passed I. Sc. and even if he did, I am not sure if he did it by himself). This is how the student union works. So yes we are in democratic country and hence we must talk about equal rights and hence even the one's who cannot pass without cheating must have right to pass the exams, must have right to become powerful.
