Religious leaders call for separate ministry to look after religious affairs

Leaders of various religious groups have demanded to form a separate Ministry or department to look after religious affairs of the country to maintain religious harmony in the country.

Speaking at a symposium in the Capital on Saturday, orgranized by Media Club Nepal, they hailed the decision of the parliament to declare Nepal as a secular state, but demanded some controlling mechanism to check the irregularities of religious sector.

King no more part of the Parliament, HoR further curbs royal powers

In yet another to move to curtail royal powers, the reinstated House of Representatives (HoR) has passed the HoR Regulation on Saturday thereby severing all sorts of formal ties between the parliament and the Narayanhiti royal palace.

Why only religious affair ministry? There should be separate ministry for each and every bill passed by HoR. More ministry and departments more chances of pocketing funds. Right path…carry on…

Secular countries don't have Ministry of Religion.So shut up and do not ever talk about this topic.Enjoy your religous freedoms but don't provoke the Hindus.
