Maoists bar Secretaries from returning to villages

The Maoists have ordered the secretaries of the Village Development Committees (VDC) of Lamjung district not to return to their duties before elections to the constituent assembly are held, reports said.

The Maoists have also said they will not allow the 'employees of the old regime' to work with their new government in rural areas.

The Maoists obviously will not allow the secretaries to return in places where they rule by the barrel !! The SPA should reinstate the local bodies asap. After all, we have returned to democracy.

After this is done, it will show:

1) how democratic the Maoists are
2) if the Maoists really want peace
3) if they are ready to put in practice what their top leaders are saying

This statement from guerilla should be sufficient for old regime employees to understand that democracy hasn’t reached their destination yet.  Beware, these pomp and show are poisoned lollipops distributed by SPA and Maoists to gain their grandeur but not for your daily necessities.
