Finally something has come up which contains hope to the peace.
I think government should take this opportunity to solve the crisis and establish a stable peace in the country.
Involving national and international team in the monitoring of ceasefire is an excellient idea.

I support
"NO BANDHA"
"NO BLOCKADE"
"NO MORE BLOOD SHEDDING"

May government and Maoist, both be sincere to the Code of Conduct.

Good Luck Government !
Good Luck Maoist !
Good Luck Nepalese !

I hope that this is the start of the beginning of a lasting and durable peace that has been eluding the people of Nepal for a long time. The end result must be a free, democratic multiparty system, the disarming of the maoists, the army in the barracks and extremely limited role for the King if the people desire. However the people must be aware that for the past sixty years they dealt with rightist extremism that also talked peace and democracy and practised something else.Only time will tell how sincere the extreme left is commited to implement and compromise on points they agree on. Nepal also needs a constitution that cannot be misused by anyone. In short a bright promising future must be insured for the coming generations.

God bless all of us.

Well this understanding will bring an environment where both parties can come together. Its been a long road since 2052 B.S. More than 13000 lives and hundreds of casualities are not mere for this kind of understanding. Solid undestanding is needed from both parties.
This time as a Nepali Citizen, I can only hope for the best and I am preparing myself for the better as well as worst future. I really don't want to see Tamil or Palestine or Kashmir Mujaheedin etc. forming ground roots in our country.
There are the examples how many times they have cease fire and till the violations seemed like inevitable. Moasists should be aware of this. Similarly, Government should take full control of the security Forces and make sure nobody violates the 25-point understanding.
For me, as long as the King reamins as a representing figure for  Nepal and Nepalese and Nepal remains as a Hindu country, I will accept every form of compromise and deal.

It is absolutely a  Wink nice move for our country and for extremely  Angry upset citizens. It is not the time to  Huh  observe, but right time to  Cheesy resolve the circumstances permanently.  We believe on involving international community to observe the situation at our home because we don’t have faith within us. We got so many chances to end the dispute and move towards the sparkling paradigm of Nepal and Nepalese people but all useless.  At this point, both the panel should regard and stick to the agreement and should not ignore it again to ruin a decade long struggle. If same consequence recurs, it won’t be the peace talks at Le Meridian hotel next time, but will be uproar talks somewhere within the mass of Nepali people.

what is up with conducting peace talk to le meridian - after all the talk about over expenditure, they start the process in a hotel like that - I thought the country did not have money - the meeting should be held in a hotel in sundhara - then they would feel the urgency to solve it ....

This mandale (= hardtalk) has no common sense (IQ below 30), because his brain is full of shit filled by gyane's corruped money.
Therefore best way would be " ignore this mandale"
If some one does not accept aspiration of people . I think it is not tooooo late to send this man  to psychiatrist.

Hi Bishnu
If Hard Talk is mandale, then me too is a mandale.
By the way do you live in KTM. If yes you are not wrong in your assessments. It is second day now the 25 points agreements have been made and the maoist have already started chanda atanka, couple of people killed and few teachers have been abdicted. I was in hile yesterday (maoist were having am sabha in Dharan) and I met few people from terathuum, they have a urdi from the masoit to join the so called PLA.
There is another criminal rajaram prasad singh stepping in Nepal now who was responsible for 2042 bombings. He, in his bhasan yesterday, said the monarchy should have been demolished from the PRATINIDHI sabha itselg. So are we need the hands of bunch of autocrats named SPAM.. Rajnath parasad singh said the maoist should get thence to lead the interim govt. why?Huh Becasue they killed 13000people.
Madnav Nepal too now has a suspecion about the maoist and and is regularly chanting, parliament should not be dissolved. If you have so much faith in the maoist, why don't you dissolve the parliament. The simple reason is we still don't trust them. If maoist have trust in SPA, why dont they lay off the arms and go to CA, why is prachanda not getting out of his shell, why are you asking for Nisarta CA, because they don't trust SPA. The only condition that we people in Nepal are saking is lay off the arms, but it is relevent from their bhasan that, the will sooner or later return to the Jungle (becasue they are junglis).
You see the peace talks in srilanka since last 30years, You see why the bastard named shyam saran is meeting USA after surya badhur thapa went to USA. Suspecion is in everyone's mind.
So too early to clebrate and may be hard talk is ight

It was indeed a historic negotiation between the govt. and the Maoist. Historic in the sense that it took  place
at the deluxe Le Meridian hotel cum resort at Gokarna. Was it so necessary to call a meeting at this sort of place ?
Is it because of the nature of the confidentiality of the meeting OR is it because of the lack of the space within the government premises.
Whatsoever reason it may be, in my opinion, it would be proper to arrange this sort of sensitive meetings within the government premises of our great SINGHA DURBAR from the initial until the conclusion of the meetings/negotiations.
It was a very good news that the five-hour-long marathon talks between the members of the government and Maoist negotiation  teams have agreed to a 25-point code of conduct to be observed by both the sides during the period of ceasefire. Congratulations !!! Being a Nepali I am curious about the 25 point code, so might be our readers as well as the people of Nepal. Is the boundary of the talks going to be just within these 25-point code OR any side could bring a new one again. If the answer is YES to the later part then it could be very difficult. I hope and wish both the sides to come into the final agreement as soon as possible to the benefit of our people and the country rather than to their mutual benefits.
Both parties please remember "MERO GORU KO BARHAI TAKKA" will not bring any conclusion.
Herdai jaaun, ramrai sochau !!!. Dhanyabad.

Dear Jai Nepal!
First of all I am not a supporter of Maoist, no body accept the way of revolution (use of voilence and weapens ), collection of money by force etc.
I am not a supporter of SPA, specially Girija and CO. the corruped leaders
I am for the true democracy, i.e. it should be done and happened what the folk likes, not what Gyanendra, Girija, Madhav, or hardtalk. Therefore every body have to accept the decision of the people.
But the propagandas from paid people like hardtalk made gyanendra unsuccessful. Therefore true enemy of kingship are these paid people.
if king would do following after royal coup, he will be a model king of the world.
-send all the corruped leader to jail.
-make free media
-rule the country temporarily via civil servants, not from giri, Gauchal etc.
-take the suggestion from the experts and civil society not of bharat kesari, Sharada chandra shaha.
-ask the people by referendum what type of monarchy they like to have
-tell Paras openly, he would be remove from prince if he drives drunk, take drugs, etc.

I am sure nepalese folk will give good chance to king to make a prosperous nepal.
a ture monarchy adopts himself before people raises voice aganist them.

The paid people have no fixed idea, no won opinion and position, they are doing propagandas based on paying, I am sure same
hardtalk will write against the monarchy if he is paid by parties. These people are just like prostitutes ( I never hate the postitutes but I hate hardtalk), they do sex based on money, not based one love. King tried to rule the country only through bought people. At end he had no money and no supporters.
