'We want to help our motherland, but we need legal status' Chiranjibi Dhakal is the Regional Coordinator of Europe for the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA-ICC). He was recently elected President of Yeti Nepali Association, a pioneer and the first Nepali Association in the United Kingdom, for the second time. Besides this, he devotes himself with various social and religious organisations in UK. He talked with Nepalnews while he was here to participate in the NRN Day programmes. Excerpts:
http://www.nepalnews.com.np/archive/2008/others/interview/oct/interview02.php Recognition in any case. There are countless people working day and night for Nepal and at this stage we should stop the current of all golden fish going to disneyland. What I am trying to say is all nepalese studying abroad but also some foreigners who are well integrated maybe even part of nepalese different families should be allowed to help. The actual situation of growing crime and what looks like a bolshewik mafia must be stopped right here. There IS a difference between the younsters throwing stones 15 years ago and the gangsters making life impossible. I am not talking parties I am talkin crime. So good advise best be taken with nepalese from abroad then only myself who suggests more prisons.
Independently of parties for a future to be possible we cannot have opportunistic self righteous non hindu taking over the country. Let the good people unite.
with the government and ngo s . there is a simple division between good and bad and it is not necessary to ask a formal interview all buried people who lost their lives over nothing at all. What they would vote?
They would vote for prisons, peace and good guidance. Communication officers have a job to do informing why not all who had nothing and never went to school cannot rule rest of the worlds world suddenly.
But I never needed a legal status to help my not motherland. And I will not run for elections. but I also do not think all should run out of the country as they do until doomsday.
The best people left the country yes it would be good to give them a bonus to come back more often and LISTEN TO THEM. But actually peace has no colour or passport. When a nepali citizen marries a european he gets a passport in five years, when a european marries a nepali they will be extortioned and get nothing.
Sounds good to me.
