Choosing Australia with Bhutan in heart
By Indra Adhikari
Bhawani Acharya faced it twice when he had to change the way of his life. Two days before the festival of Dashain, he left Nepal for what he hoped as a wonderland.

Immigration is hard, you loos language and culture yet keep something inside...
Many people including myself became humble and modest by the hardships of never being understood abroad, always having to adapt learning languages, being surrounded by locals who keep correcting as if we were chilren even we are 50 years of age...
Many people are ill of being third generation immigrant. The stress of having to help and loose loved ones far away...My father had brother and sister in different countries, I have cousins I never met. Lived in a forein culture without any relatives. But it does good things to us, we understand where others in the same position come from and yes we did leave poverty and a hopelss country behind us.
The problem is those born in exylum with useless habits from another part of the planet, some cultural goods are helpful to maintain our spirits but they get in the way.
These days muslim gays are trying to be themselves, hindu girls refuse the arranged marriages at an early age, maroccan girls do not want to be married away far. Change takes time.
Is it better to be home? It is enriching to suffer abroad. We become more human and nicer.
I hate people that are confortably racist in their village.
In their country they have not seen or understood anything of life. I wish for everyone to be some time working abroad. But an entire life nostalgic?
I think group culture people suffer in the cold anglosaxon societys as do latinos. They cannot understand the selfishness of the people. Good for us.
