The silent period is known as a period of reflexion in election times. So,I convey you "the suspended King G.Shah" my complete sincere disregard for your contempt towards the EC at this juncture of our political transition. You lack ethic as many ultras from this world, which must be the upmost criteri while acting as an institution, your misdeeds are the most responsible factors for the disappearance of this bloody feudal institution.Nepalnews should have avoided this kind of irrespect towards the present institution of our State. He wants to provoke maoists for further bloodbath, well you're used to that, didn't you, suspended G.Shah? but You must be reminded that the interim constitution clearly indicates that you can be easily thrown out of narayanhiti by the consent of political parties even without the elections. Our country is day by day converting into the society of least ignorants. It has the power of youth which is more than 50% of total population,so your cry to save your pathetic family is not going to work anymore. Our responsible parents would never accept you as a King.for them you're the culprit and main conspirator of royal massacre.Do you know that in my family there are 7 elderly people out of 20 and all of them hate even to see you in TV.Imagine what might be your future if it were in the hands of these peace loving parents of our motherland.you no more represents nothing.

Thank God that our beloved King has at last spoken out, all the people in Nepal should listen to him. Put an end to this violence that has killed so many of our countrymen. Vote for the party that keeps the MONARCHY, that is the only UNIFYING thing that we need. Why do we who live outside of Nepal not get to vote in this CA election? An intrim Govt. cannot make any laws, it is only the King's desire for peace that he has abided by these ridicelous rules this govt has made. The so called polititions have made enough money now. It is time they gave something back to the country. Even after this CA elections we will not rule our own country. The international community& aid givers will. WAKEUP people of Nepal. We will be dictated to forever. Vote for STABILITY, VOTE FOR MONARCHY.

DEMOCRACY IS : FOR THE PEOPLE, BY THE PEOPLE AND OF THE PEOPLE. SO, PEOPLE MUST NOT BE OBSTRUCTED FROM THEIR RIGHT TO BE EXERCISED FROM ANY POWER AND CORNER OF THE SOCIETY WHETHER THAT IS NATIONAL OR INTERNATIONAL.
HERE IN NEPAL THINGS ARE NOY BEING AS SUCH MENTIONED ABOVE. PEOPLE SOVEREIGN POWER HAS BEEN CAPTURED BY SO CALLED PROMOTERS OF DEMOCRACY DISGUISED AS POLITICAL POWER. THE DECISION TAKEN BY INTERIM CONSTITUTION PRIOR TO PEOPLE'S PARTICIPATION THROUGH THE VALID AND ACCEPTED MEANS OF DEMOCRACY IS THE CLEAR-CUT VIVID ACT OF OF BYPASSING PEOPLE.
THE PROVISION MADE IN INTERIM CONSTITUTION RELATED TO FUNDAMENTAL ( BASIC ) ISSUES OF THE STATE NEED TO BE ANNOUNCED COMPLETELY NULL AND VOIDE BY ALL DEMOCRATIC LOVING FORCES IN THE COUNTRY AND FROM THE INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY AS WELL BEFORE TAKING IT'S DUE PROCESSS TO MAKING NEW CONSTITUTION BY SLECTED CA.
THE KING'S APPEAL FOR THE ADULT OF NEPAL NEEDS TO WELCOME BECAUSE IT HAS ACCEPTED PEOPLE'S SOVEREIGN POWER.
IN ORDER TO BRING SUSTAINABLE PEACE,PROGRESS,STABILTY AND SOVEREIGNTY OF THE NATION,IT IS MOST AND NEEDY OF THE HOUR IS TO FULLY ACCEPT THE POLICY OF BROADER NATIONAL RECONCILIATION ADOPTED BY LATE GREATE LEADER B.P. KOIRALA.
HATE,CONFRONTATION,UNNECCESARY DISPUTE AND CONFLICT MUST BE AVOIDED .ALL POLITICAL POWER INCLUDING TRADITONAL NEEDS TO DULY RECOGNISED AND GIVEN APPROPROATE ROLE.
LET US UNTED NOT DEVIDED AND LET US NOT UNDERMINE ANY EXISTENCE REALITY AND POWER IN NEPAL.FINALLY,LET US NOT PROVIDE AN OPPORTUNITY TO DESTROY NEPAL WHICH ARE CLEARLY BEEN SEEN AT THIS JUNCTURE OF TIME BY VESTED INTEREST FOREIGN FORCES IN COLLABORATION WITH OUR FEW CORRUPT AND MOST DANGEROUS SELFISH SO CALLED SELF PROCLAMED LEADERS.
JAI-NEPAL ! MAY LORD PASHUPATI NATH PROVIDE US GOOD SENSE TO SAVE DEMOCRACY ,INDEPENDENCY AND WELL SPIRIT OF UNITED NEPAL.

His statement “it has been our only wish that the country progresses and prospers according to the sovereign decision of the people through the democratic process and that the nation’s existence, independence and integrity come under threat in no situation” does not make sense any more. It is meaningless to come from his mouth today. Had he said it just a day before the people’s uprising in Kathmandu in April 2006 it would have some meaning and his crown would have been saved.

King G is only asking the people to exercise their basic democratic rights. As any individual with freedom of speech, he is making the same suggestions that PM koirala did. What is so bad about it? I hope the King G will be appreciated for his patience and genorisity. He did make a mistake but he soon realized it and handed the power to the now interim government led by the lousy, stingy, power hungry politicians and other criminals responsible for the deaths of thousands of innocent Nepalis in the last ten years. King G certianly didn't hand the power over to current government so that it can redicule the institution of monarchy at their convininece.
Let the man attend temples as any normal citizewn, let this man greet his people on new years occasion as a human being. STOP violating his right as a human being.
May GOD bless my country and provide it with a conducive environment for a fair and free constituent assembly election.

We have had many debates and discussions on wide variety of topics in this forum. There have been nice comments, heated comments and nasty comments. People from various fields with different background have presented their sincere views, feelings and opinions which we all give our due respect even though we sometimes disagree with them. Now I think we should all wish that the CA election proceed smoothly and peacefully. By the morning of 11th April we will know the result. Then another stage of discussion in the forum will start. HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL.
