no surprise! This is only way to save them from going to jail shown by HM paras sharkar.
I found some interesting comments in a blogs. here is copy and paste version
begin:
Maoit is the only party who wants the real change, all othes are just oppportunists, this is very important to understand. you might think that recent political status is brought by girija or ulm, but this just a big illution. do you remember ? how maoists are the only people who demand day by day to cahnge the interim constitution. GPK is biggest hindraces for the real change, UML and others are satisfied if they gets some positions as they have already made the government with RPP in past. I am not the maoist, but I support them and request you all to give your solidaity to support them as they are only people who can bring the real changes in Nepal.

end:
once GPK told he does not like whose name starts with म (like monarchy, maoist, male, mashal etc.) he was joining hands with them only to remain on power. once a forum participant has written here. do not expect much still this corrupt old man dies. all inclusive king Gyanendra are waiting for his death.
he will not die not very soon because.

I am wondering whats going on in nepal....? well, why those stupid people are crazy for the power. Have they done any good things since they got power by throwing king of power? nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. all these parties invited onoy chaos, uncertainity, poverty, violence, regrets and many more. Like Bijukche told that india wants to make another sikkim and china wants to help nepal with petrolium and still these politicians wants indian favor for power? These politicians donot have any idea what nepal is going to be in future. They all want to be a president before they die. thats all their purpose. Prachanda Quit the government why? becoz they want to be in power and make money.. Girija doesn;t wanna give up his power why? becoz he also want to be a president in life time before he die and let her daughter be another candidate for future president. MaKune wanna go be another president thats why he is provocating maoists time to time and to congress too  so that if in case... they could be in power. It says there are eight parties where are those smaller parties? I could see, hear and read about only three parties Maoist ( Imported Party), UML( collection of unwanted People from both Maoists and Congress) and Congress( Educated by Indian politicians)... How about small parties... where is the opponent party? When Congress was in power UML used to say that as a oppnent party in parliament Congress must respect UML .. when UML was in power Congress raised the same voice but how about now? who is respecting who?RPP is there but these eight parties damn care because RPP is out of Eight...Any way country is going to totally in bad direction and for this nobody or no other institution is guilty except these Eight parties. Like in Mahabharat....If any bad thing happened to our country NEPAL  in future the dead soul of these politicians will never rest in peace. They will always bumping here to there in the search of Peace. And I know all of these Politicians who are playing vital role in parties, are BRAMHAN and Bramhan knows that who goes to hell and who goes to HEAVEN.....after death.

Sorry folk its my dissatisfaction over the game played by these politicians.. they don't want country in peace.. these politicians want MONEY AND POWER... HEY PASHUPATI NATH KALIYUG KO KRISHNA CHAHIYEKO CHHA NEPAL LAI ...SEND EM SOOON

There is a very old saying: “Daura na Saura Ko Khalti”

In the context of present political situation, the above saying is very applicable as Nepal is still in a vicious cycle of poverty, and this poverty started more worsening especially with the beginning of the Moist insurgency all over the country. Consequently, this poor country is totally devastated and ruined now.

But instead of rebuilding this nation aftermath the eight-party agreement, various political party and ethnic leaders are busy in acquiring power as much as possible so that they can be the boss of this poor nation. What’s a pity! As a matter of fact attempting to hold power and social prestige regardless of their capacity, knowledge, and understanding of conditions of the situation is the true character of most of the Nepalis living in Nepal or overseas. Therefore, it doesn’t surprise me, but bothers me a lot.

Maoists are the people who gave birth of the fight against feudal system in Nepal, but it does not mean that they are the heroes of Nepal and they have the right to demand anything in the name of the fight against reactionary elements despite what they agreed upon initially with seven-party. They are totally wrong in this sense and withdrawing their representatives and flexing their muscles on the street is only to add fuel to the flame of the worsening conditions of the country and the people who are mostly poor, disadvantaged and helpless.

Like other political parties in Nepal, Maoists are also power hunger and suppressor, otherwise they would dare to go to the upcoming election (of course without guns) and win the heart and soul of the people and then with the mandate of people write a new constitution and declare the country as Republic, if given peoples’ mandate.

I don’t think just hundreds and thousands of Maoist’s army and their leaders are the only Nepalis whose mandate supercedes the aspirations and needs of the entire population of Nepal. I think this is the ground reality both Prachanda and Baburam should understand urgently,  and act accordingly without any prejudice and hunt for power to make Nepal as a model for 21st. century communist country based on Maoism in the world. If this is their thinking and wish, the people of Nepal will backfire them and ask them again to go for hiding in Indian soil.

Without being a supporter of maoist, I can say this should be the political discipline, culture.
if a party or minister promise something to do after being elected or joining government, sie/he has to stepdown her-himself if it is not possible to fulfill the mandate. This is true in all democratic culture in westen society.  I mean, maoists are fallowing people's path only in this sense. It does not mean that I am supporting people's war or current agitation program etc. GPK is the politician who can never understand it. perhaps he is too old to understand it.

summary: step down yourself if you can not fullfil your promise to people
HM Gyanendra gave up to avoid death of  more people but GPK did it never.

Sequences, Implications and probably the truth that will never be exposed
If we re-cap the whole sequences since 1990, when we thought we got our democracy, we can only see two forces we feared of. Monarchy and Maoists. Both these forces tried to use many different ways to destabilize the country and refrained country to practice the democracy. On top of that the corruption prone, visionless and non-qualified leaders steered the country towards destruction. But in any case, the benefit was either for monarchy or maoists. Since they both were working for the same cause, demolition of democracy, they were about to unite, as already have been admitted by the maoists, until the monarch wanted to play smarter role by sidelining the maoists and taking the absolute power. This baffled the maoists and brought about the 8 and 12 point (both these numbers are still considered as bad omen) agreements. After success (I am pretty sure it was not success of people but success of special envoy of Indian prime minister's magical words) of second revolt against the king, king was out of picture but maoists could have gained a lot of popularity if they wanted. A lot of people thought it was just because of their participation that the king's regime fell (I do not see no reason to try and convince those who still argue that success was actually because of maoists, I have already pointed out the reason for the success), they could have gathered huge support for themselves if only they had behaved well. A lot of people are still willing to give maoists a chance, if only they would stop their illegal means, intimidation, violence, killings etc. But maoists are not doing anything to improve their own image and who is benefiting? Yes the long forgotten friend, the monarch. Each and every move that maoists are making is helping monarch more. They killed the first madhesi protester which sparked the terai violence. This gave enough room for the monarch to fish in the troubled water. Had it not been for that first bullet from maoists, probably we would not have so much of problems in terai. To put more butter in the fire, they tried to disrupt the MPRF meeting, which resulted in loss of life of their own cadres. Yes it was bad that people got killed, but it was another opportunity for maoists to get sympathy from terai. They tried to cash in from these deaths and still are trying.
People are forgetful, whenever the terai issues comes in front, they only remember those 28 deaths, but really forget who actually fueled it. And never ever has maoists regretted pulling the first trigger. They wanted to diffuse MPRF's agenda by threatening them by killing one of the protesters, and later trying to disrupt their meeting. Though they were unsuccessful both times, the second time they were luckier than the first, at least they could gather some sympathy internally and externally. People even forgot the whole terai issue and everything was coming back to normalcy until suddenly maoists realized that they have really lost their popularity by their dids. They had two options, either postpone the elections or find some way to disrupt it, and yes that would help the long term friend monarch either. The more maoists voice against monarch the more they are making the monarch stronger. This is politics, and there is always an opponent in the politics. If the agenda of all the parties is exactly same, they would not be different parties and people would not need to vote one against the other. For that very reason, NC is trying not to follow the same path that is dictated by the maoists. NC will be benefited the most if there is no monarch (unless the red army decides to coup). They just want to go to public with different agenda than the maoists and for sure if they follow maoists agenda, people would rather vote for maoists than the party that follows maoists.
Almost everyone had realized the maoist dilemma, so they really had expected something from the maoists either postponement or disruption of polls and as expected, red commander first came with proposition to postpone only to refute later as every quarter of people could see how they were trying to escape the polls. Having being narrowly saved the big shame and no other alternatives in hand, they came up with more demands on top of what was already settled. I am just wondering, there are 8 different parties in the coalition, none of the rest sevens come up with any demands, while maoists are putting forth demands after demands, just like a spoiled child. How long the parties are asking (they are just asking not even demanding) maoists to behave and not to engage in extortions, abduction and so on, but they have never cared about it, why are the parties not demonstrating against maoist, just like maoists demonstrating against them? But still who will benefit from it? Maoists - a little bit because they will be able to allure some rebellious youths to their camp, but the monarch is the one who benefits most. The more the rift between the SPA and maoist, the more stronger the monarch will be.
'Syal karaaunu ra bakhra haraaunu ekai choti' soon after maoist decided to launch the agitation, there were a series of explosion. I am again thinking how forgetful people are, they have even forgotten such big explosions. The army reported maoist involvement, maoist saw army involvement through monarch. Again both M"s are on the scene, either this M or that M and both are benefiting from pointing their fingers to the other one. Both of them again have the same agenda, to disrupt the polls. Since the cause and people involved in the explosion was really sensitive, that means either one of the M's involvement, the government could not publish the report on the explosion.
Maoist quit the government with a vow to disrupt the polls, they vowed in front of all in their mass meeting in the capital. As they saw that the statement to disrupt the polls might backfire them both internally and externally, they took back their words but still were left with no option but to disrupt the polls. On the first day of 'Ramadan', Prachanda became the first politician to address muslim community and trying to cash in their sympathy by making them 'realise' that they are minority and are deprived of their rights. Within a couple of days after that, a muslim 'leader', formally known as anti maoist got killed. Again there are two M's in the scene. Either maoists had planned this killing and red commander tried to take the muslims in his confidence before executing or the monarch was involved as per maoists. In either case, both M's again benefit as it can be pretext of next rioting in some other place before the both M's finally succeed in disrupting the poll.
I conclude without a conclusion that whether both Ms are still good friends, seeing the events and consequences, it is hard to believe the other way.

Unity between the eight parties are getting dimmer and dimmer because the big two parties have not been sensitive to the people’s demand for the proportional representation. Without proportional representation there can be no justice in Nepal. With proportional representation 80% of the present political leaders will be out of the job. The top political, civil, judiciary, police and army posts are occupied by the privileged castes. 10% of the people are ruling the country and their main objective is to maintain it.

Time has Come, SPA-M Thugs and Terroists are Losing the Battle before Even it Started. These Rascals thought they Controlled Terai and They had all the Support in Terai and could do what ever they want. SECULAR, REPUBLIC anti-monarchy?

How much clearer can it be. None of these SPA-M Thugs have hold in Terai. Look at what happened to Makune, Lila Koirala, Ram Baran Traitors houses. They are in illusion that they have support in Terai.

In Terai, There must be a Proper and Representation and Constituencies Divided on Pupulation. We will re-introduce Constitutional Monarchy with Multi Party Democracy and HINDU KINGDOM. People in PAHAD have been out numbered by Guns and Bullets of MAOISTS TERRORISTS. In TERAI, Maoists will be wiped out and thugs who support it.

We will protect Monarchy at any Cost. SPA-M Thugs and TERRORISTS, better watch out before crossing HETAUDA and PATHLAIYA into MADHESH. Your Days are Numbered. Enough of Terrorism and Trying for Forceful Implementation of MAOIST TERRORIST in POWER.
